INQUIRY-BASED BACKWARD DESIGN UNIT PLANNING TEMPLATE

Backward design is a more efficient way to plan a unit than the “traditional” beginning-to-end method. Plus, when you’re finished, you will have an entire unit mapped out on a calendar, which means that your plans for the foreseeable future will be basically done! This unit planning template can be used by teachers of any subject and age group. However, this particular template best lends itself to subjects like English/Language Arts, and Social Studies.

This template can be used by a single teacher, but the real magic happens when units are planned with a collaborative team of teachers.

What You Get:
– printable Inquiry-Based Backward Design Unit Planning Template in the form of a pdf file
– sample unit on a completed template to reference as an example (in pdf format)

EXTRA CREDIT BINGO

This Extra Credit Bingo is perfect for an English classroom! Students are all given the same Bingo card for a grading period. They can then choose which boxes to complete to earn various amounts of extra credit points (ranging from 5 to 20) that can be added to an assignment score of their choosing.

When they complete five boxes in a row in any direction, they can choose any grade to raise up one letter grade.

This PDF includes one full Bingo card with 25 different prompt boxes.

STUDENT PROFILE FLAGS

These profile flags are a perfect way to get to know your students while generating décor for your classroom! Just print, cut out, and distribute for your students to complete. Then you can string them up in your room or in the hallway for a personalized display.
